Paralegal
Mariana Powalisz is a native of Bahia, Brazil. Mariana has experience in family-based petitions, asylum, cancellation and U-visas. She is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish (and a bit of Italian). She is a licensed attorney in Brazil and came to Boston to obtain a Master of Laws (LLM) from Northeastern University School of Law.
After graduating in 2013 she volunteered at the Brazilian Immigrant Center where she developed a strong interest in immigration law and aiding immigrants. She loves music, learning about other cultures and spending time with her family.
